6 pared, sliced apples
½ C. flour
½ C. brown sugar
½ C. Sugar
½ C butter
1 tsp. cinnamon

Arrange apples in a buttered 2 quart casserole. In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugars and cinnamon. Cut in the butter to make crumbs. Cover apples with crumbs and bake 1 hour at 350 ºF. Scrumptious

From Mrs. Grogin’s kindergarten class, I got this very simple and delicious recipe for apple crisp following the kids annual pilgrimage to Applecrest Farm. I will occasionally add a ½ cup of oatmeal, but overall the proportions are great and I don’t mess with it.
