1 1/2 lbs chicken breast cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
oil to coat
1-2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
1 cup half and half cream
2 cups milk
1 cup chicken broth
1 Tbsp chicken base such as Better than Bouillon©
1 lb. Rigatoni
1 large bunch broccoli cut into serving pieces.

Coat large skillet with oil. Place on medium heat. Working in batches lightly brown chicken pieces on all sides. Remove chicken and set aside.
Add chopped garlic and butter to skillet and stir until the butter has melted. Add flour and stir thoroughly. Whisk in cream then add milk and broth cooking, stirring constantly until thickened and starting to bubble. Add chicken base and turn off heat.
Meanwhile cook pasta as directed on box. Three minutes before pasta is cooked add broccoli to pasta water and cook with pasta. Drain and return to pot. Add sauce and chicken. Stir to coat. Serve immediately.
