¼ c melted butter
1¼ c ginger snap crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Combine melted butter and cookie crumbs. Press into bottom of 9 or 10 inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
 

Filling

16 oz cream cheese, softened
⅔ c sugar
2 eggs
14 oz puréed pumpkin
½ tsp cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg
½ tsp salt, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Beat cream cheese and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Mix in remaining ingredients. Pour over crust.

Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until cake is firm. Cool and remove from pan. Chill before serving. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate curls, if desired.
