8 MEDIUM GRANNY SMITH APPLES, CHOPPED
1/4 CUP BUTTER
1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR
1/2 TEASPOON CINNAMON
1/8 TEASPOON NUTMEG (OPTIONAL)

MELT BUTTER IN A HEAVY SKILLET OVER MEDIUM HEAT. ADD APPLES, BROWN SUGAR, CINNAMON, AND NUTMEG. SAUTE 15 TO 20 MIN OR UNTIL APPLES ARE TENDER. SERVES 6
