2 sticks butter, room temperature
1 3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
2 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup regular coca cola
1/2 cup whole buttermilk
1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows

FROSTING:
1 stick butter
1/2 cup regular coca cola
1/3 cup cocoa
4 cups sifted confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350º. Spray 9 x 13 pan with non stick baking spray. Beat butter and sugar on medium speed until fluffy (about 2 minutes). Add eggs and vanilla, continue beating 1 minute. Sift together flour, cocoa and baking soda.- set aside. Combine cola and buttermilk. Add flour mixture alternately with cola buttermilk mixture to creamed mixture - beating well after each addition. Stir in marshmallow. Place batter in baking pan. Bake for 40 - 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Remove from oven and frost after 10 minutes.

In a medium saucepan combine butter, cola and cocoa over medium heat. Stir frequently until butter is melted and mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and combine with confectioners sugar. Stir to mix throughout; then stir in vanilla. Add pecans, mix well and spread evenly over warm cake.
