1 egg beaten
cup sugar
1 tbs melted butter
cup milk
tsp salt
tsp nutmeg
tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder
2 cup flour.

Directions:
Directions:
Heat fryer (or oil 2 deep in large pot) to 365 degrees. Mix all ingredients in order. Roll into inch thickness with rolling pin on floured surface. Cut with floured cutter and drop one at a time into hot oil. Turn with long handled fork as soon as doughnuts come to the surface.
Continue frying two at a time. When brown, lift out of oil.
Drain on paper till slightly cooled.

Shake with sugar for coating in bag.
