6 eggs
4c rasins
4c currants
2c sour cream
2c shortening
2c brown sugar
2c syrup
to 1 c mixed peel
lb almonds
lb walnuts
2 T candied ginger
2 tsp soda
2 tsp salt
2 tsp nutmeg
3 tsp cloves
3 tsp cinnamon
3 tsp all spice
6 c flour


Mix the eggs, sour cream,shortening, brn sugar and syrup together, Mix the flour with salt, soda and spices. Then beat into egg mix. Then mix in the raisins, currants,ginger and walnuts. Put into 5 old bread loaf pans lined with parchment Bake at 275 to 300 till toothpick comes out clean
