1 stick butter
3/4 cup flour
1/3 - 1/2 gallon milk
1-2 tsp. minced garlic
6 pkgs. dried beef, chopped
4 oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
frozen peas (optional)
salt & pepper to taste
toast

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium/large sauce pan, make a rue with the butter and flour. Gradually add the 1/3 gallon of milk and heat on medium/low burner stirring frequently. Add cream cheese and beef. Stir in garlic and Parmesan cheese. Bring to a low simmer. If too thick, add more milk and bring back to a low simmer. Remove from burner and stir in frozen peas. Let stand 10 minutes and serve over toast.
