2 cups walnut halves
1/3 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 tsp kosher salt

Directions:
Directions:
Begin my pouring the pure maple syrup over the nuts in a skillet. Add the salt and stir over medium heat.
Make sure to use PURE MAPLE SYRUP.
Cook the walnuts, PURE MAPLE SYRUP, and salt until it becomes thick and bubbly. Then cook for another 3-5 minutes more.
Pour the nuts onto a silpat or baking paper lined cookie sheet and allow to cool.
If nuts are still sticky, bake them at 200-250 for 10 minutes at a time until the syrup is absorbed and they
are no longer sticky. This may take as long as 30 minutes.
Store airtight in a cool place.

Personal Notes:
I received these as a gift from Carolyn Ho one summer afternoon when she invited us along with Robert over for
wine and snacks. Oh what beautiful snacks she made for us. It was a lovely afternoon.
