Ingredients:  
1 C butter
1 C sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
3 C flour
1¼ t. cream of tartar
1 t. baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and add to butter and sugar. Chill at least an hour. Roll out dough ⅛ inch thick. Cut and bake til lightly browned.

Can frost with Betty Crocker's Rich and Creamy vanilla frosting.
