1 (20 oz.) can of crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
1 (21 oz.) can of cherry pie filling
1 package of yellow cake mix (two-layer size)
1 (3 oz.) can of pecans (1 c.) chopped
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 350 and grease a 9x 13 inch baking pan
2. Spread pineapple with its syrup evenly in the pan
3. Spoon the pie filling evenly over the pineapple
4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the mixture, then the chopped nuts over all
5. Slice the chilled butter or margarine into thin strips, then put the strips evenly over the other ingredients

Bake for 50 minutes or until golden. Serve warm.
