1c flour
2/3c sugar
1/3c cocoa
2t baking powder
1/2t salt
1/2c milk
1/4c vegetable oil
1t vanilla
1/2c chopped pecans
1/4c brown sugar
1/4c sugar
1 pkg vanilla pudding and pie filling mix
3/4c coconut (if desired)
1 1/2c boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Grease one 8 inch square pan or one 1 1/2 quart shallow baking dish. Combine flour, 2/3c sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Combing milk, oil and vanilla; blend into dry ingredients. Stir in nuts. Spread batter in pan.

Combine brown sugar, 1/4c sugar, pudding mix and coconut (if desired) sprinkle on top of batter. Carefully pour boiling water over mixture. Do not stir. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes. Cool 10 minutes; serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
