5-6 c. flour
1 pkg active dry yeast
1 c. starter
1 c. milk
c. shortening
2 TBSP sugar
1 tsp salt
cornmeal

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 2 cups flour & yeast - set aside. In pan, heat and stir milk, sugar, salt and shortening until warm (120). Add to flour, mix. Add sour dough starter. Mix and add enough flour to make a dough. Knead dough 6-8 minutes. Cover and let rise about 1 hour or until double. Punch down, let rest 10 minutes. Roll to inch thick. Cut with a 4 inch cutter. Dip both sides in cornmeal, let rise. Cook on ungreased griddle for 25-30 minutes on medium heat, turning often.
