Cake
1 Stick butter
2 c sugar
5 egg yolks
1 c buttermilk
1 c chopped pecans
5 egg whites beaten stiff
1 c coconut
1 t vanilla
1/2 c shortening
2 c flour
1 t soda

Icing
12 oz cream cheese
1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 box powdered sugar
1 t vanilla
pecans and coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Cake
Cream sugar and shortening, add egg yolks then add flour and soda alternately with buttermilk then stir in rest. Fold in egg whites. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes

Icing
Beat cream cheese and butter, add sugar then pecans and coconut. Spread on cooled cake
