3c (1lb) dry small red beans
6c water
2/3 bay leaves
2lbs lean ground beef
1/2lb bulk pork sausage
3/4tsp curry poder
1tbsp cumin
1/4tsp tobasco sauce
3 large onions, chopped
3 garlic buds, minced
1 qt diced tomatoes
1Tbsp chili powder
2 small dried red cili peppers
1Tbsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and sort beans. Put into large kettle with water and bay leaves. Cook until tender. In skillet, brown meat, onions and garlic. Add to drained beans along with remaining ingredients. Simmer together 1 hour. About 12 servings.
