½ cup butter
¼ cup sugar
¾ cup corn syrup
1 well beaten egg
2 cups flour
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp cloves
1 tsp salt
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup sweetened applesauce
½ cup raisins
½ cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400º
Grease baking sheet

Cream butter and sugar. Add corn syrup gradually, beating well. Add egg.

Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with applesauce to creamed mixture.

Add raisins and nuts

Drop by teaspoonfuls an inch apart on the cookie sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes
