2 c sugar
1 c shortening
4 eggs
1/2 c cocoa
2 c flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c nuts

Filling:
1 pkg coconut macaroon mix
3/4 c water

Frosting:
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
1/2 c cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs, beating well. Add rest of ingredients. Spread half of this in a 17 x 11 inch pan. Mix the macaroon mix with the 3/4 c. water. Spread this over the brownie mixture. Add remaining brownie mixture which you have with 3 tablespoons water and spread over the top. Bake 20 to 25 minutes in a 350º oven. Frost with chocolate frosting. Boil frosting ingredients for 1 minute, then add 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Beat until spreading consistency. This frosting goes well on any bar or cake.
