3 Tbs butter
3 small garlic cloves minced or pressed about 1 1/2 tsp.
1 1/2 pounds asparagus thick stems if possible.
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine butter and garlic in a small bowl. Brush asparagus with butter mixture and season with salt.
2. On a medium hot grill clean grate with a metal brush and wipe with paper towel brushed in oil. Grill asparagus turning once until just tender and caramelized about 2 - 4 minutes per side. Remove asparagus as needed to prevent overcooking. Serve warm.
