1 1 /2 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 beaten eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
Directions:
Directions:
Stir together cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt. Add buttermilk, eggs, onion and beat well. Drop batter by level tablespoonful into 1/2 inch hot oil. Cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes; turn once. Drain on paper towels; place in warm oven while frying remainder of batter.
