1 can (4 oz) dried beef, shredded
water
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp paprika
2 cups milk
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
If dried beef is very salty, cover with water; bring to a boil. Drain. Saute beef in butter until edges curl. Blend in dry ingredients. Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth and bubbly. remove from heat; stir in milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; boil 1 minutes. Remove from heat; blend in cheese. serve over toast points or toasted English muffins.
