2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. marg. softened
3/4 c.sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. applesauce(thick)
1 c. walnuts or pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour,baking powder,salt & cinnamon.
Set aside.
Cream the marg with both sugars until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs, one at time beating well after each egg.
Stir half the dry ingred. into sugar mixture and then half the applesauce.
Repeat
Fold nuts into batter.
Pour into a well greased and floured 9 x 5x 3 in. loaf pan
Bake at 350 for 1 hr. or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pan for 10 min.
Remove from pan
Let bread cool completely on wire rack before cutting.
