1 1/4 c. grated cheddar cheese
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tap. ground red pepper
1 1/4 c. toasted rice cereal

Directions:
Directions:
In large mixer bowl combine cheese and butter, beat until smooth. Mix in flour, salt, red pepper. Fold in cereal. Place dough on wax paper and form into a cylinder about 12x1 1/2 inches. Wrap and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Slice roll into 1/4 in slices. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheer and cool on rack. Can be made ahead and frozen up to one month.
