Sauce


Ingredients:

1 can tomato paste
2 can peel crushed tomatoes plus 1 can of water
1 onion chopped
1/2 green pepper chopped
1 stalk celery chopped
1 carrot shredded or 1 tsp sugar ( to cut the acid)
10 mushroom chopped
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp parsley
4 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes.
1 small (bottle for one ) red wine..

In fry pan heat oil add onions, peppers, mushrooms and celery until tender add garlic and
tomato paste. Brown the tomato pasted for about 5 minutes add wine and pour into a slow cooker add tomatoes and cook for 6 to 8 hours.
 

Meatballs

1 lb hamburg (85% lean)
1/2 lb ground pork
1 onion minced
3 cloves garlic minced
1/2 C milk
2 eggs
1 C bread crumbs
salt and pepper
1 tsp parsley
2 tbsp. of tomato sauce
1/2 Cparmesan cheese

Preheat oven 375 degrees

Mix together all ingredients. Flatten on the counter in a big square cut into squares (like brownies)
This makes your meatballs all the same size. Pick up a square and lightly roll into a ball (you don't want to work the meat too much they will become tough) Spray oil onto a cookies and bake for 20 minutes add to spaghetti sauceand cook until sauce is done..
