Taco Soup Recipe

Great Aunt Mary Dee


1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
1 onion, chopped
1 can of corn, undrained
1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 can pinto beans, undrained
1 can Mexican style chili beans
2 cans Rotel
1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 small cans of chopped green chilies
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 pkg. dry Ranch Style salad dressing mix
1 1/2 c. water

Brown gound beef or turkey in large skillet; drain off grease. Put in crockpot add the rest of ingredients and stir. When serving in individual bowls add cheddar cheese to top of soup and put in microwave of 10 seconds; Add Tri-color tortilla strips.
