Crust
2 1/4 cups flour
1 cup shortening
1 tsp. salt

Pie Filling
6 Granny smith apples
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
-Mix crust ingredients and chop up until crumbly
-Add sprinkles of water to form dough into two balls
-Roll out one of the dough balls (make sure there is flour on your surface and rolling pin)
-Maneuver the crust into a glass pie pan

-Slice the apples as thinly as possible, place in a bowl and add in sugar, cinnamon, and butter. Put them into the pie crust
-Put slices of butter on top of the apples
-Roll out the 2nd dough ball and put it on top of the apples
-Poke small holes with a fork
-Keep in the oven for at least an hour and put on a cookie sheet in case the apple juices leak out
