1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
¾ c water
½ c raisins
3 T. brown sugar
1 T lemon juice
¼ c seasoned bread crumbs
½ t. garlic powder
½ t onion powder
½ t pepper
¼ c egg substitute
2 T ff milk
1 lb lean ground beef
1 t. salt

Directions:

Combine the tomato sauce, ¾ cup water, raisins, brown sugar and lemon juice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 10-15 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine the bread crumbs, seasonings, egg substitute and milk. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into balls. Carefully add to tomato mixture. Cover and simmer 20 -25 minutes or until meatballs are no longer pink.

Serve over rice or potatoes
