Lasagna Recipe

1 lb Sweet Italian Sausage
1 lb ground beef
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 large onions Chopped
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp parsley
1 1/2 tsp basil
1 tbsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp sugar
1 qt tomatoes
1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
2 (16oz) cans tomato paste
12-14 lasagna noodles
8 oz mozzarella cheese
2oz parmesan cheese
1 small cottage cheese

Brwon meat, onion and garlic. Drain. Add sauces and seasoning. Simmer 10 minutes. Grease 9 by11 pan. Places half cooked noodles in the pan. top with 1/3 meat sauce and 1/2 cheeses. Repeat, spread meat on top and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Cover with 2 layers of tin foil and bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 min. Let stand 15 min before serving.
