3/4 c. cottage cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1 t. vanilla
2 c. flour (1 c. whole wheat)
2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt

Filling:
4 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg, separated
1 t. vanilla
1 c. fresh or frozen blueberries

Glaze:
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 t. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
In blender process cottage cheese until smooth. Add the sugar, milk, melted butter, and vanilla. In mixer combine flour, baking powder, salt. Add cottage cheese mixture and mix until dough forms a ball (dough will be sticky). Place in bowl; cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla. Roll dough into a 16x12-in. rectangle.

Spread cream cheese mixture lengthwise in a 3 1/2-in. strip down center of dough; sprinkle with blueberries. On each long side, cut 1 in. wide strips into enter. Fold alternating strips at an angle across berries. Beat egg white and 1 T. water; brush over dough.

Bake at 400 for 20-22 minutes or until golden brown. Combine glaze and drizzle over warm pastry. Refrigerate leftovers.
Yield 10 servings.
