2 1/2 cups warm water
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup honey
1 1/2 tbsp yeast
1 tbsp salt
1 cup gluten flour
6 cups whole wheat flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in water, add honey and let rest for 5 min. Add remaining ingredients, except for flour, and mix well until smooth. Add flour a cup at a time until the correct consistency is reached ( slightly sticky to the touch but doesn't come off on your finger). knead until elastic. Let rise double. form into loaves and place in greased loaf pans. Let rise until 1 inch above pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 min. Or until hollow sounding when tapped with a finger. Remove to racks to cool, eat, it's best when hot.

This is my mother's recipe she perfected over several months of bread making. We ate A LOT of wheat bread until she finally got it just right. Remember to knead it really well or it will be crumbly when you cut it.
