Saute
1 leek (cleaned and chopped)
1 stalk celery chopped
4 tbsp. butter
1 onion minced
2 carrots shredded
1/4 C green pepper chopped

2 C chicken broth
1/23 cup flour
2 C milk
2 C light cream
salt & pepper to taste
4 Tbsp butter
1 C shredded sharp cheddar cheese


Directions:
Directions:
Pour broth in pan with vegetables bring to a boil cook till tender and set aside.

In a sauce pan 4 tbsp. butter and flour cook for 2 minutes
pour in mil and cream beat till smooth

add to chicken broth and vegetables.

Serve with crackers.
