4 eggs, well-beaten
2 cups cooked pumpkin or 1, 16 ounce can pumpkin (not pie mix)
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 325º. Grease a 13"x9"x2" baking pan.

Mix eggs, pumpkin, sugar, salt and spices together. Pour into pan, spreading out evenly. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over pumpkin mix. Drizzle melted butter over mix. Spread chopped nuts over all. Cover pan loosely with foil to prevent over-browning. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool, and cut into squares. Top with whipped cream.
