1 unbaked pie shell
1/4 c. butter (1/2 stick)
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. milk
2 T. all purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. dates, cut up
Sweetened whipped cream
Walnut halves

Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl cream butter; gradually add sugars and beat until light and fluffy. Beat eggs, one at a time. Stir in milk, flour, vanilla and salt. Add walnuts and dates. Turn into pie shell. Bake on 375º for 50-55 minutes or until center is set. Cool on wire rack. Serve with whipped cream; top with walnut halves
