1 cup flour
¼ teaspoon salt
1/3 heaping cup of shortening (almost 2/3 cups)
3 tablespoons ice cold water

TWO CRUSTS
2 cups flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup of shortening (scant or just shy)
6 tablespoons ice cold water

The 3 tricks of this fantastic crust are: 1) Use only Crisco or lard 2) Use ice water 3) Handle dough gently! Roll gently!
