1/2 lbs tomatillos washed
5 fresh Serrano chillies
3 garlic cloves,unpeeled
1/3 c cilantro
1 large onion, chopped
2 Tsp coarse salt
Directions:
Directions:
Broil tomatillos, chilies and garlic til softened and charred;
Peel garlic and pull off chillies. Purée all ingredients
Makes 3cups

N.B. Substitue 2cans strained tomatillos ( about 2 cans)
