3 lb. lean ground pork
3 T. onion powder
2 tsp. garlic powder
3 tsp. salt
1½ tsp. dry mustard
¾ tsp. sage
1½ c. water
2 c. bread crumbs (fine dry)
1 c. grated carrot

Egg wash:
beat one egg in a cup and add equal amount of milk

preheat oven to 400º. cook meat in water (do not brown) for about 20 minutes stirring occasionally. add rest of the ingredients
butter pie plates (2-3 depending on size)
place bottom crust in plate and brush entire bottom with egg wash. fill and place top on pie, pinching edges.
Brush egg wash on top crust and bake for 10 minutes, then turn oven down to 350º and bake for 30-45 minutes longer.
