1 C sugar
1 C dark molasses
1 tbsp. white vinegar
1 tbsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Grease a large rim baking pan

In a 2 qt. saucepan , combine sugar, molasses and vinegar. Cook over medium heat , spooning liquid so that it flows down the side of the pan. (to prevent crystals from forming) When a candy thermometer reads 290 degrees., remove pan from heat.

Let cool slightly; add baking soda. Mixture will foam. Pour onto pan.

When candy is cool break into pieces

Serve plain or dip in choclate.
