Slices of white bread, crusts removed (number of slices depends on casserole dish)
Sliced cooked ham or bacon (I like ham)
Sliced cheddar cheese
6 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper (optional)
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Dash of Tabasco
3 cups milk
1/2 cup butter
Crushed corn flake crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Butter bottom of the pan. Arrange bread on bottom of the pan. Place ham on the bread, then layer the cheese, then another layer of bread. Place some more cheese to decorate.

Beat eggs with salt, pepper and all ingredients except butter and corn flake crumbs. Pour over the casserole. Cover and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, melt butter and pour over top. Sprinkle crushed corn flake crumbs on top. Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Let stand 10 minutes, then serve
