1 C shortening
2 C brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1/2 C sour milk
3 1/2 C flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 C Muskat Raisons
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 400 degrees
In a large bowl mix shortening, brown sugar and eggs . Stir in sour milk.
In a separate bowl combine flour, soda, and salt and raisons. Gradually add the dry mixture to the moist mixture mix well. Cover and chill for 1 hour.

cook for 15 minutes or until edges are brown dust with granulated sugar
