2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 t. salt
1/2 t. mace
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. cloves
1/2 t. ginger
1 T. cornstarch
3 T. cocoa
2 t. baking soda
1/2 c. oil
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:

Sift dry ingredients, add raisins and nuts, mix. Add oil and applesauce and mix thoroughly.
Bake at 350o for about 30 minutes, or until it tests done.

Optional: Pour Brandy over cooled cake.
