1 fresh butternut squash
4 baking apples
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp grated nutmeg
Pinch of ground cloves
2 T brown sugar
Butter (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Peel and cut into small squares one butternut squash. Peel and slice thin 4 baking apples. Place butternut squash into glass baking dish and spread the apples over top. Mix remaining ingredients in small bowl and pour over ingredients in baking dish. Add 3 or 4 small pats of butter on top.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
