1 cup butter
2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup whole almonds
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
6 qts. popped corn
2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy pan, melt butter.
Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Boil without stirring 5 minutes.
Remove from heat - stir in soda and vanilla.
Stir in almonds.
In a large bowl gradually pour over popped corn, mixing well.
Turn onto 2 large baking pans.
Bake at 250 for 30 minutes, stirring twice.
Remove from pan, cool and break apart.
Melt chocolate chips in a pan, or microwave.
Measure out 3 cups cooled carmel corn and mix into melted chocolate.
When chocolate popcorn is cool, add to caramel corn.
