1 package (12 ounces) spaghetti
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef, green pepper and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the tomatoes, tomato sauce, brown sugar, salt, chili powder, pepper, garlic powder and cayenne. Drain spaghetti; add to the beef mixture. Transfer to a greased 12-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Cover and bake at 350º for 30 minutes longer or until the cheese is melted.
