Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 tsp yeast
½ tsp salt
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
4 tbsp melted butter
⅔ cup milk
½ cup raisins
½ cup prunes
½ cup apricot
1 apple (Macintosh)

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare yeast as directed. Mix the dry ingredients. Add the beaten eggs, melted butter and milk. Mix well.

Fold in yeast. Dough should not be too dry, so that you can mix fruit into dough easily using a spoon.

Finely chop prunes, apricots and apple to preferred size. Add the fruit to dough. You can either spread it in a greased cake pan or roasting pan and bake it.

Bake at 350ºF for 45 minutes or until golden. Test with toothpicks, if it seems too doughy bake another 15 minutes.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Bubbat is really just a raisin quick bread. It can be baked inside a chicken but Oma cooked it in a roasting pan generally served with turkey. This was the equivalent of stuffing in our home growing up.
