3/4 C sugar
3/4 C brown sugar
1 C butter (softened)
1 t vanilla
1 egg
2 C whole wheat flour
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
10 oz semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl, mix sugars, butter, vanilla, and egg until well blended. (By hand or by electric mixer will be fine.) In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt. Then pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix well. Dough will be stiff. Stir in chocolate chips.

Using ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart. 

Bake 8-10 minutes or until light brown. The centers will be soft. Cool slightly, then move cookies to cooling racks to cool before storing, or serve warm with milk.
