Prime Rib Roast Recipe

Cook's seasoning:
1 cup salt
cup black pepper
garlic powder
teaspoon celery salt

1 5-7 pound standing rib roast
1 tablespoon Cook's seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven or portable electric roaster (that's what I use) to 375.
Rub roast with Cook's seasoning.
Place roast on rack in a pan with the rib side down and the fatty side on top.
DO NOT OPEN the door/lid during this process.
Roast for 1 hour.
Turn off the oven or roaster.
Leave the roast in the oven or roaster without opening for 3 hours.
About 30-40 minutes before serving turn the oven/roaster to 375 and reheat the roast.

This makes a perfect rib roast. So easy. REMEMBER...don't open the lid. It lets the heat escape and you're screwed.
