8 slices dry bread, cubed (can substitute croutons if you like)
¾ pound shredded cheese
2 pounds breakfast sausage cooked
Chopped green chili if you want.

4 eggs beaten
2 cups milk
¾ teaspoon dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
In a rectangular baking pan spread half of the bread, followed by half of the sausage, followed by half of the cheese.
Layer the other half of the bread, the other half of the sausage, the other half of the cheese.
Beat together eggs, milk and dry mustard.
Pour over the layered mixture.
Refrigerate overnight.

In the morning, optional;
Mix one can mushroom soup with ½ cup milk and pour over casserole.

Bake at 325º for 1½ hours.
