Base:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup white sugar
1 cup flour
1/3 cup raspberry or apricot jam

Filling:
1 8oz/250g pkg cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1tsp vanilla

Topping:
3 cups peeled, thinly sliced apples
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together thoroughly
Blend in flour
Press evenly onto bottom and 1 1/2" up side of 8 1/2 springform pan
Spread jam evenly over bottom of crust
Beat all filling ingredients together with electric mixer until smooth and light
Spread over jam
Toss apples, sugar and cinnamon together to coat well
Spoon over filling
Sprinkle with almonds
Bake at 450 F for 25-30 minutes, or until set and apples are tender
Cool slightly then remove pan rim
