2 Tbsp Butter or Margarine
2 Tbsp Flour
1 cup liquid.

Directions:
Directions:
Melt Butter and add Flour in a medium Saucepan. Cook for 1 min. add the liquid. Cook until it starts to thicken, stirring constantly.

This can be turned into any sauce you like.

Add milk and Cheese for a cheese sauce ( add chilli powder and taco seasoning for nacho cheese sauce)

Add milk and Chicken seasoning for a chicken gravy

Add milk and Sausage drippings and sausage for a sausage gravy

Add the meat drippings, some water, and some beef bullion for a brown gravy

Add Milk and Parmesan for an alfredo sauce

This is a staple at our house. Gravy and sauces help complete and dish and cover up the dryness of the overcooked or cheap meat. Very College friendly.
