1/2 C butter
1/2 C Shortening
1 C Pastry Flour
1.5 C All Purpose Flour
2 t sugar
1 t salt
1/4 C ice water

Directions:
Directions:
Cut butter into 1-inch cubes and place in freezer for 20 minutes.
Whisk flour, sugar, and salt. Then add butter.
Rub butter and dry ingredients together until mixture has a cornmeal-like consistency and no large clumps remain.
Add ice water in a slow stream and mix with spoon.
Turn dough out on floured board, press dough together using an outward motion with hands.
Halve the dough.
Wrap each ball and put in refrigerator for one hour to 3 days.

Then roll out into a pie shell each.

Be sure to keep things cold.
