2 1/2 cups plain flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon

1 cup butter not margarine(room temperature)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs

1 8 oz candied red cherries
1 8 oz candied green cherries
1 4 oz candied pineapples
1 1/2 cups chopped dates
4-5 cups chopped pecans

Directions:

Cut up all fruit
Sift all dry ingredients together Set aside

Cream soft butter and sugar ( this is the most important
part of making these cookies)
Add eggs one at a time. Beat well
Add flour mixture with a spoon
Stir in all chopped fruit, dates and pecans

It will be very thick

Drop by spoon on lightly greased cookie sheet

Bake 400 degrees 8-10 minutes
